Whole Enchilada: Started a design/print/web/ business at the
request of a former client that has been going strong since 1999.
ThinkTank
Advertising: Rebuilt art department from ground up, turning
profits from 30% to 45% in the first three months.
Marketing
And: Again, rebuilt art department and increased profits in
the first three months. Per principals "The problems of production
are solved after eight years in business".
The
Upper Deck Company: For two years managed over 200 active jobs,
while preventing lost revenues of one million dollars per day due to
late product launches.
The
Upper Deck Company: Successfully managed the development of
several new foil and print applications along with assisting in the
development of optically engineered substrates for stereo holographic
imagery and a CD-ROM baseball card.

10/99
to present; The Whole Enchilada: Owner.
Started a design/print/web agency at request of marketing vice president
of dot com company to managed collateral production/printing and tradeshow
management. Responsibilities include, account management, creative,
new product development, operations and new client recruitment. Clients
list includes; Kay Home Products, Mulligan Family Fun Center, Beverly
Hills Mercedes, Just Products, Inc., Squarehole Winches, Jack Nadel,
Inc., Ace Hardware, and Maker Enterprises.
4/97
to 10/99; Marketing And: Director of Creative Services.
Managed creative operations for projects from concept to final product.
Developed approximately 1,000 print jobs annually for primary client
AST Computer, with print billings alone up to 10 million a year. Responsibilities
include all buyouts, estimates, managing production staff, maintaining
equipment and overall operations and procedures.
5/96
to 4/97; Container Concepts: General Manager.
Recruited to start an in-house advertising department for existing clients
and potential new business. Additionally, coordinated packaging production
for Mattel, Deflecta-Shield Automotive and The Upper Deck Company. Types
of packaging included litho-laminated corrugated boxes, corrugated inserts,
corrugated shippers, retail boxes and retail displays. Additional duties
include automating sales support staff and linking operations to accounting
via Windows NT 3.51.This interface included generating new in-house
materials from work orders to pallet load-tags all integrated with Excel.
11/94
to 5/96;ThinkTank Advertising: Production Manager.
Managed and traffic all aspects of the art department. To include: estimating,
trafficking, managing staff, freelancers, project budgets and all company
buy-outs. Additionally, worked very closely with accounting department
to ensure all billables are current and accurate. Personally maintained
MIS support. Took major rolls in initial concept meetings along with
the engineering of working comps.

to 11/94 The Upper Deck Company:
1/94 to 11/94. Creative Technologies; Product Manager; Responsibilities
include scheduling and monitoring of activities related both to product
based production as well as research and development testing. My position
required technological specific research to evaluate and understand
potentials, production concerns, tolerances required for proper function
and out-plant vendor source options.
8/91
to 1/94. Baseball Traffic Manager; Traffic and manage all product, packaging,
sales collateral and print ads for Major/Minor League Baseball and World
Cup Soccer. Also picked up single-series launches of National Hockey
League and National Football League products when necessary due to under-staffing.
Position required maintaining and updating both daily and weekly schedules.
Act as a liaison between art, copywriting, typesetting, marketing, pre-press,
press, packaging and legal departments.

to 2/91 Crest Advertising/Atlas Hotels: Production
Manager/Art Director.
Managed print ads, menus, signage and sales collateral materials from
concept to completion. I was quickly promoted from Production Artist
to Production Manager/Art Director within first year. Responsibilities
included managing four production artists, two copywriters as well as
keeping invoices current with accounts payable.
